GetAJob inc. collects and stores personal information to provide career services to its users, customize their experience, and enable personalization of content. Upon consent, user data is shared with third parties facilitating career services for the user. It shares minimal data with its service providers.This applies to all of GetAJob's websites and associated domains of: thrivemycareer.com and thrivemycareer.com.au

This includes automated decision-making to promote content tailored to the preferences and interests indicated by the user, their browsing job search history, and resume data. This includes automated decision-making to provide the following services:

  • Recommended learning content
  • Resume and job listing matching

POTENTIAL CONSEQUENCES OF PROCESSING

GetAJob Inc. makes no personal data about users public at any time. By creating an account with any of GetAJob Inc.'s properties (thrivemycareer.com) users may make certain personal data accessible to third parties providing career services to the user. GetAJob Inc. works to minimize the amount of data shared with third parties in order to provide career services. These third parties are not covered by this document and are subject to their own Privacy Policies respectively. Users must use their real name and information for their account. Users may also choose to use the service without posting data or engaging in any career services. However, if you do not agree with and accept the risks of such usage, you may not use the services.

GetAJob Inc. is based in Canada. As such we must access certain data in Canada to provide the Services - for example: To resovle support tickets we often require personal data such as email and name.

THRIVE Users

Users (thrivemycareer.com) personal data is encrypted and stored in Canada. GetAJob Inc. processes personal data in Canada, and the United States. By using GetAJob Inc. Services, you authorize GetAJob Inc. to transfer, store, and use your information in Canada and any other country where we operate.

United States USERS

United States Users (thrivemycareer.us) personal data is encrypted and stored in the United States. GetAJob Inc. processes personal data in Canada, and the United States. By using GetAJob Inc. Services, you authorize GetAJob Inc. to transfer, store, and use your information in the United States, Canada, and any other country where we operate. We limit the amount of data processed outside of the United States whenever possible.

EU USERS

EU Users personal data is encrypted and stored in the EU. GetAJob Inc. processes personal data in the EU, Canada, and the United States. By using GetAJob Inc. Services, you authorize GetAJob Inc. to transfer, store, and use your information in the EU, Canada, and any other country where we operate. We limit the amount of data processed outside of the EU whenever possible.

AUSTRALIAN THRIVE USERS

Australian Thrive Users (thrivemycareer.com.au) personal data is encrypted and stored in Australia. GetAJob Inc. processes personal data in Australia, Canada, and the United States. By using GetAJob Inc. Services, you authorize GetAJob Inc. to transfer, store, and use your information in Australia, Canada, and any other country where we operate. We limit the amount of data processed outside of Australia whenever possible.

RETENTION

GetAJob Inc. retains personal data associated with your account for the lifetime of your account. Your account will become deactivated once your access to a GetAJob Inc. product has ended. Following 30 days of deactivation an archive is created of your account which is used for historical, billing, and statistical purposes. The archive also allows us to provide users with their account data upon request, and restore their account if needed. If you would like to delete your personal information, you can request to have your personal information deleted at any time.It may take several additional days for your personal data to be fully removed from recipients, depending on those recipients practices, over which GetAJob Inc. may have limited or no control.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

  1. If you sign up for a GetAJob Inc. product account, you may at any time request an export of your personal information by contacting support at support@thrivemycareer.com or submitting a ticket to our support portal https://thrivemycareer.freshdesk.com/.
  2. You may correct information associated with your account and customize your communication preferences from the Account Settings page when logged in, or by contacting support at support@thrivemycareer.com or submitting a ticket to our support portal https://thrivemycareer.freshdesk.com/.
  3. You may withdraw consent by requesting your personal data be deleted at any time through by contacting support at support@thrivemycareer.com or submitting a ticket to our support portal https://thrivemycareer.freshdesk.com/. Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days of the request. (Except to the extent Thrive is prevented by law from deleting your information).
  4. You may object at any time to the use of your personal data by contacting support at support@thrivemycareer.com or submitting a ticket to our support portal https://thrivemycareer.freshdesk.com/. If your complaint relates to alleged misuse of your personal data by a third party, it may result in suspension of that service in keeping with relevant law, public interest, our contractual obligations, and the rights of expression and access to information of others.
  5. You may at any time lodge a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data by GetAJob Inc. with the Supervisory Authority of your EU member state.
